If you're into classic JRPGs and love Sailor Moon, this SNES gem is a weirdly cool mix of both. It plays like a Final Fantasy clone but with Usagi and the gang—turn-based battles, elemental weaknesses, even combo attacks if you pair the right scouts. The story slots into the Sailor Moon S arc, so expect familiar faces (and some deep cuts if you're a fan).
Fair warning: it’s Japanese-only unless you track down a translation patch. The pacing’s pretty on-rails, but the writing’s surprisingly solid—way better than most anime tie-ins. Just don’t expect open-world exploration; you’re here for the melodrama and sparkly attacks. The sprite work’s charming, though, especially when someone whips out a Moon Tiara Action in pixel form.
It’s definitely niche, but if you’ve ever wanted to grind levels as Sailor Mercury, this is your chance.
