Okay, so Bishoujo Senshi Sailor Moon Super S on SNES is basically peak 90s anime nostalgia—if you grew up with Usagi and the gang, this one hits different. You jump into these side-scrolling beat 'em up levels where you pick your favorite Sailor Scout (I always go for Sailor Mars because fire attacks, duh) and start smacking around circus-themed villains. The sprites are surprisingly detailed for a Super Nintendo game, and they nailed the anime aesthetic with those big, sparkly attack animations.
It’s not just button-mashing though—some stages mix it up with light puzzle-solving or quick mini-games, like dodging falling objects or racing against time. The music? Absolute bangers, straight from the show’s soundtrack. My only gripe? The difficulty spikes hard around the third stage if you’re playing solo, so grab a friend for co-op unless you enjoy getting wrecked by clown minions. Still, it’s one of the better Sailor Moon games out there, especially if you’re into that classic magical girl vibe.
