Big Run is one of those old-school arcade racers that somehow feels both punishing and weirdly satisfying. You're basically thrown into a brutal off-road rally where your truck bounces around like a toy on rough terrain, and the physics are just... wild. The SNES port keeps that arcade feel—tight controls, but you'll still fishtail into a sand dune if you're not careful.
First thing you notice? The camera's pulled way back, so your truck looks tiny against these sprawling desert stages. There's something oddly hypnotic about watching it kick up dust while you wrestle with the steering. And the music? Pure early '90s synth energy—like someone remixed engine noises into a workout tape.
It's not the deepest racer, but there's charm in its simplicity. You pick a route, try not to flip over, and pray your tires hold out. The later stages get ridiculous in that classic arcade way—suddenly you're dodging rocks the size of boulders. If you dig unforgiving old-school racers, this one's a time capsule worth dusting off.
