Bib’s back, and this time he’s stranded on Mars—which, honestly, looks way cooler in 16-bit than you’d expect. The first thing you’ll notice is how the game nails that old-school SNES vibe: chunky pixel art, bouncy platforming, and those weird little alien critters that just have to get in your way.

It starts simple—jump over pits, smack some floating jellyfish things—but then you hit the first puzzle where you’ve gotta flip switches to redirect lava flows, and suddenly you’re hunched over the controller muttering, “Wait, how did that work again?” The gravity feels just slightly lighter than Earth, so Bib’s jumps have this floaty, satisfying arc to them. And yeah, there’s a jetpack upgrade later. No spoilers, but it rules.

If you played the first one, you’ll spot some callbacks (that one music track from the ice level sneaks in), but it’s not afraid to throw new stuff at you, like sandstorms that mess with visibility or these creepy underground worm tunnels. Classic SNES charm with just enough weirdness to keep it fresh.
