Battletech 3050 (japan) Game

Battletech 3050 on SNES is one of those mech games that feels like you're piloting a walking tank—clunky in a good way. You start off picking your loadout, and yeah, the autocannon seems tempting, but trust me, the PPC hits like a truck if you can handle the heat buildup.
It's top-down, so you're constantly rotating your mech to line up shots while enemy lasers whiz past. The controls take a second to click, but once they do, it's satisfying as hell to stomp through buildings and watch them crumble under your mech's weight. The Japanese version's got some extra polish, too—smoother animations, cleaner sprites.
Not gonna lie, the difficulty spikes hard around mission 4, but tweaking your weapon loadout between fights makes a huge difference. You'll want to save often.
