Battle Soccer is this weird, ridiculously fun SNES game where you get to play soccer with giant monsters and mechs. Like, imagine Ultraman dribbling past Godzilla, or a Gundam doing a sliding tackle on Rodan—it's as absurd as it sounds, and I love it.

You pick from these wild teams (Godzilla’s squad is my go-to) and then do the dumbest possible team setups—Jet Jaguar in goal? Sure, why not. The physics are janky in that perfect 16-bit way, and matches turn into chaotic scrambles where someone inevitably gets yeeted across the field by a poorly timed slide. It’s not deep, but it’s the kind of game you play at 2 AM with friends while laughing at how ridiculous it all is.

Also, the soundtrack slaps. That is all.
