Batman Forever on SNES is one of those licensed beat 'em ups that tries to capture the movie's vibe but ends up feeling a little clunky. You pick Batman or Robin (Batman's moves feel heavier, Robin's quicker) and punch your way through waves of thugs across Gotham. The stages look decent—neon-lit streets, sewers, the usual—but the controls take some getting used to, especially the awkward grappling hook mechanic.
Two-Face and Riddler show up as bosses, and there are these weird first-person puzzle segments between levels that feel totally out of place. Not the worst superhero game from that era, but definitely not the smoothest either. If you're nostalgic for mid-'90s Batman, it's got some charm.
