Batman: Revenge of the Joker on SNES is one of those "what could’ve been" prototypes—SunSoft was working on it before it got canned, so all we have is a slightly souped-up version of the NES game. Same side-scrolling action, same Joker chaos, just with nicer sprites and colors. Not groundbreaking, but if you’re into retro Batman or lost SNES relics, it’s a weird little time capsule.
You’re still punching goons, dodging projectiles, and working through those stiff-but-charming NES-era controls. The SNES version smooths out some rough edges, but don’t expect a full remake—it’s more like someone gave the original a fresh coat of paint. Fun for a quick playthrough if you’re curious, but don’t go in expecting Arkham Asylum.
