Baldies is a real-time strategy game released in 1996 for MS-DOS. It was developed by Creative Edge Software and published by Panasonic Interactive Media. The game presents its world from an isometric perspective, placing the player in the role of a hand-shaped deity overseeing a population of small, bald humanoids.

The player controls this hand-god to manage the Baldies civilization, with the overarching goal of advancing its technology and defeating the rival Hairies faction. Unlike many strategy titles, the player does not command individual units directly. Instead, Baldies wander autonomously, and the primary interaction involves picking them up and placing them into specific rooms within their shacks. Each room assigns a different role to the Baldie, indicated by a color change in their clothing. Red Baldies become workers who generate energy for terraforming and unlocking abilities, blue ones act as builders for structures, grey ones serve as soldiers, and white ones are scientists who research new inventions.

Progression involves constantly reassigning Baldies to these roles to balance population growth, technological development, and military strength. Scientists create items like traps, grenades, and vehicles by experimenting on animals found in the environment. Population is increased by placing Baldies in a bedroom. In addition to physical manipulation, the hand-god has special powers such as a targeted flame attack. A late-game ability can trigger a confrontation where all units are transported to an island for a final decisive battle between the factions.
