BS Yoshi No Panepon was a Japan only release for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System, part of the Satellaview broadcast service. It was developed by Nintendo, and it arrived during a period when the SNES was experimenting with new ways to deliver games directly to players. This title was essentially a Yoshi themed version of the panel de pon puzzle format, a familiar concept for puzzle fans on the platform.

You control the cursor to swap adjacent panels, aiming to create rows or columns of three or more matching blocks to clear them from the screen. The main objective is to prevent the stack of panels from reaching the top of the playfield. Two key mechanics define the action: you can send garbage blocks to your opponent's screen by creating large chain reactions, and Yoshi himself occasionally appears to help clear a significant number of panels at once. The pacing is quick, and the difficulty escalates steadily as the blocks rise faster. Playing it feels like a constant, engaging race against the clock.
