Bs Yoshi No Panepon - Bs Ban (japan) (en,ja) Game

BS Yoshi No Panepon is one of those weird little SNES gems—it was part of Japan’s satellite download service back in the day, so unless you had the right setup, you probably missed it. Basically, it’s a puzzle game where you stack and match shapes (kind of like Tetris meets Yoshi’s goofy charm). The blocks have these cute little faces, and clearing them feels oddly satisfying once you get the hang of it.
At first, the controls take a second to adjust to—rotating pieces isn’t as snappy as modern puzzlers, but there’s something charming about its simplicity. And yeah, it’s in Japanese, but the gameplay’s straightforward enough that you don’t need to understand the text to enjoy it. Definitely a neat piece of obscure SNES history if you’re into that sort of thing.
