About Bs Tamori No Picross (6-26)
BS Tamori No Picross came out for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System in 1997, published by Nintendo. It was part of the later wave of SNES titles, arriving when many players were already looking ahead to newer consoles. This was a puzzle game based on the Picross nonogram concept, delivered through the Satellaview satellite modem peripheral in Japan, which gave it a unique, broadcast-style release schedule that felt different from a standard cartridge.
You control a cursor on a grid, using logic to mark or exclude squares based on numerical clues at the edges. The main objective is to reveal a hidden pixel image by carefully filling in the correct blocks. Key mechanics include a time limit that pressures your deductions and a hint system that can reveal parts of the picture if you get stuck. The puzzles start simply but gradually demand more concentration, with some larger grids becoming quite challenging. It feels satisfying to watch the final image emerge from a blank grid through your own reasoning.
