BS Super Ninja-kun is this weird little SNES gem where you play as a ninja kid trying to rescue a princess—pretty standard setup, but the execution is anything but. You jump between floating platforms, slash through waves of monsters, and occasionally run into other ninjas who fight dirty. The controls feel a bit stiff at first, but once you get used to the rhythm, chaining jumps and shuriken throws starts to feel satisfying.
What makes it stand out is how chaotic it gets—enemies swarm you from all sides, and some levels have these weird gimmicks like disappearing platforms or sudden wind gusts. The art style’s got that early '90s charm, all bright colors and chunky sprites. Not the deepest game, but it’s got personality. If you’re into obscure action-platformers, this one’s worth a look.
