BS Do-Re-Mi De Fu 2! is one of those weird, charming SNES rhythm games Japan just seemed to crank out in the '90s. You’re basically playing Simon Says with music notes—listen to a quick melody, then tap out the same sequence before time runs out. Starts simple, but the later stages throw curveballs like offbeat rhythms and sudden tempo changes.
What’s cool is how it feels like an actual music lesson disguised as a game. Mess up, and the game actually shows you where you went wrong. The pixel art’s got that classic SNES charm too, with these little bouncing notes and a cheerful, slightly chaotic vibe. Not gonna lie, some of the later tracks had me restarting a few times.
If you’ve ever wanted to train your ears while pretending you’re just playing a quirky retro game, this one’s a sneaky good pick.
