If you grew up feeding quarters into arcade cabinets, this SNES collection is pure nostalgia. It’s got six of Atari’s classics—stuff like Centipede and Missile Command—but now you can play them without emptying your wallet. The ports aren’t perfect (the SNES joystick just isn’t the same as that big arcade trackball), but they’re close enough to feel right.
Weirdly, Tempest is the standout—those trippy vector graphics somehow work on a home console. Meanwhile, Pong is still stupidly addictive, even if it’s just two lines and a square. You’ll probably flip between games every 10 minutes, chasing that old-school high score rush.
It’s not the fanciest collection, but it’s a solid time capsule of early arcade chaos.
