About Animaniacs
Animaniacs came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, published by Konami. It was part of that wave of licensed platformers that filled the shelves back then, games based on popular cartoons. This one followed the Warner siblings, Yakko, Wakko, and Dot, as they caused chaos around the Warner movie lot.
You control one of the three characters, switching between them on the fly. Each has a unique ability; Yakko uses a giant mallet, Wakko swings a large hammer, and Dot attacks with a flurry of kisses. The main goal is to explore the movie studio, screen by screen, to collect goodies and find the key to the water tower. You spend your time running, jumping on platforms, and hitting enemies with your character's specific attack. The game is known for its fast pace and can be surprisingly tricky, with some precise jumps required. Playing it feels like a frantic dash through a cartoon set, full of silly gags and constant motion.
