You control a young wizard navigating a series of single screen rooms, each one a self contained puzzle. The main goal is to collect all the magic books scattered throughout the levels, but getting to them requires careful thought. Your primary tool is a magic wand that can create blocks; you shoot these blocks to form bridges, to weigh down switches, or to block enemy paths. The game is strictly turn based. Every time you move or fire a block, every enemy on the screen also moves in response, which forces you to plan several steps ahead.
