I picked up The Amazing Spider-Man: Lethal Foes for the Super Nintendo back in 1995, a Japan only release from Sunsoft. It arrived late in the SNES life, a time when developers were really pushing what the hardware could do with comic book action. This one is loosely based on a specific 1993 comic storyline, so it has a particular feel compared to other Spider-Man games from that period.
You control Spider-Man through side scrolling stages, moving screen by screen to clear areas of thugs and super villains. Your main goal is to stop the Lethal Foes, a team of villains who have kidnapped Betty Brant.
