Disney’s Aladdin on SNES is one of those licensed games that actually holds up. You jump, slash with your scimitar, and dodge through Agrabah’s rooftops—and yeah, the animation is still smooth as heck. The levels feel like they ripped scenes straight from the movie, especially the escape from the Cave of Wonders.
What I love is how the platforming actually requires some timing—those magic carpet sections? Brutal if you don’t nail the rhythm. And throwing apples at guards never gets old. It’s not just a nostalgia trip; the gameplay’s legit fun even now.
Just don’t expect it to be a cakewalk. Some of those jumps are pixel-perfect, and Jafar’s final form is a proper nightmare. Still one of the better Disney-to-game adaptations out there.
