Aguri Suzuki F-1 Super Driving is one of those SNES racers that tries to be serious—like, really serious. The tracks are based on real Grand Prix circuits, and yeah, Suzuka’s crossover section and Monaco’s tight tunnel are here, complete with that claustrophobic feeling when you scrape the walls. It’s got all 16 official courses plus a couple extras, and the physics lean more toward sim than arcade, so don’t expect to powerslide through every turn.
Two-player mode is where it gets fun—pick your car and go wheel-to-wheel, though good luck keeping up if your buddy’s mastered the braking points. There’s also a Vs. Mode where you race against Aguri Suzuki himself, which sounds cool until you realize the AI’s basically a brick wall with a lead foot. Not the deepest F-1 sim out there, but for ’90s console racing, it’s got its moments.
