About Aero The Acro-bat 2 (europe)
Aero the Acro-Bat 2 came out for the Super Nintendo in 1994, developed by Iguana Entertainment and published by Sunsoft. It arrived during a time when the SNES was packed with mascot platformers, and this sequel continued the circus themed adventures of its predecessor without drastically changing the formula.
You control Aero, a bat whose main goal is to stop the villainous Edgar Ektor. Your primary actions involve running, jumping, and using a spin attack to defeat enemies. The level design encourages screen by screen exploration, and two of the more distinct mechanics are swinging from bells to cross large gaps and launching yourself from cannons to reach distant areas. The game maintains a brisk pace, though some sections demand precise timing and can be quite difficult. Playing it feels like a test of your platforming reflexes in a vibrant, chaotic world.
