Adventures of Yogi Bear on SNES is basically what you'd expect—a solid, no-frills platformer where you jump around as Yogi trying to save Jellystone Park from becoming a toxic dump. It’s got that classic Mario feel: pits to avoid, enemies to bonk on the head, and picnic baskets scattered everywhere for points (because of course Yogi’s obsessed with picnic baskets).
The levels are straightforward but decently designed—nothing mind-blowing, but it’s fun if you’re into old-school platformers. The clocks give you extra time, which you’ll need because some of those jumps are just mean. And yeah, the bottomless pits? They’re everywhere. You’ll hate them by the third stage.
It’s not the most original game, but there’s something charming about playing as Yogi Bear, of all characters, in a platformer. Just don’t expect it to reinvent the wheel.
