Okay, so picture this: you're Dr. Franken's monster, but instead of the usual bolts-and-neck-screws look, you're rocking flip-flops and a swimsuit like some kind of beach bum horror icon. The game throws you right into this weirdly charming side-scroller where you're punching, kicking, and tossing enemies across these colorful, slightly goofy levels.
At first, I thought the controls would be stiff—classic SNES platformer and all—but your monster actually moves with this satisfying weight to him. You can even pick up enemies and chuck them, which never gets old. The music’s got that bouncy, cartoony vibe that somehow fits a Frankenstein monster vacation gone wrong.
It’s not the deepest game out there, but there’s something oddly fun about beating up bad guys in swimwear. The whole thing feels like a B-movie you’d rent on a lazy weekend.
