I picked up The Adventures of Dr. Franken for the Super Nintendo back in 1993. It was published by DTMC, and it fits right in with the kind of colorful, side scrolling platformers that were common on the system at the time. The game is set in a cartoonish world where you play as a friendly, blue haired monster created by the doctor.

You control the monster, navigating through levels screen by screen. Your main goal is to rescue Dr. Franken's kidnapped assistants from the evil Baron Von Finklestein. The gameplay involves a lot of jumping across platforms and using your stretchy arms to punch enemies. You can also collect power ups, like a temporary invincibility star, and find keys to unlock doors blocking your progress. The pacing is fairly methodical, as you often need to backtrack a little to find the correct path, and the difficulty can be unforgiving with precise jumps required.
