About Adventures Of Batman & Robin, The (europe)
The Adventures of Batman & Robin for the Super Nintendo came out in 1994, developed by Konami. It was part of that wave of licensed games on the SNES that tried to capture the look and feel of the animated series, using the hardware to push colorful graphics and smooth animation.
You control Batman through side scrolling levels, moving screen by screen to clear areas of enemies. Your main goal is to stop villains like the Joker and Two Face across different stages. You punch and kick thugs, but the Batarang is your primary tool; you can throw it in multiple directions to hit distant enemies or switches. The game also gives you a grappling hook to reach higher platforms, adding some verticality to the exploration. The pacing is fast and the difficulty is quite high, with enemies attacking from all sides and requiring quick reflexes. Playing it feels like a constant, tense scramble through Gotham's underworld.
