If you grew up with the Addams Family movies or just love weirdly charming platformers, this SNES game is a surprisingly solid pick. You play as Gomez (mostly) bouncing around the mansion and some outside areas, flipping switches, dodging traps, and occasionally switching to other family members for their unique moves—Wednesday’s got this creepy doll that helps with puzzles, which I didn’t expect but ended up loving.

The vibe nails that Addams mix of spooky and silly—one minute you’re hopping over bottomless pits, the next you’re getting scolded by Morticia for tracking dirt. The controls feel a little stiff at first, but once you get used to Gomez’s weird little flips, it clicks. And yeah, some of the level designs are confusing (why is there a minecart section?), but stumbling into secret rooms or finding Uncle Fester just vibing in the background makes up for it.

Not the deepest platformer, but if you’re into 90s licensed games that actually tried, this one’s got personality. Just don’t expect it to hold your hand—half the fun is getting lost in that gothic mansion.
