About A.s.p. Air Strike Patrol
A.S.P. Air Strike Patrol came out for the Super Nintendo in 1995, developed by SETA Corporation. It was one of those later SNES titles that tried to push the hardware a bit further, offering a more involved flight combat experience when many players were starting to look toward newer consoles.
You pilot a fighter jet across a series of missions, with the main goal being to destroy all enemy targets in an area. The game uses an overhead view, and you manage both your fuel and ammunition carefully. A key mechanic is the ability to land on an aircraft carrier to rearm and refuel, which adds a strategic layer to the otherwise straightforward combat. The pacing is methodical, and the difficulty can be unforgiving if you mismanage your resources. It feels like a tense, logistical puzzle wrapped in an arcade shooter.
