Wreckers is a science fiction action game released in 1992 for the MS-DOS platform. Developed by Denton Designs and published by Audiogenic Software Ltd., the game presents a bird's-eye view perspective. It blends action with strategic management elements, set aboard a space station under biological threat.

The player assumes control of one of three human officers aboard Beacon 04523N, a station targeted by invasive plasmodian spores known as Wreckers. The primary objective is to defend the station and ensure its continued operation by eliminating these threats. Gameplay involves two main phases of defense. Initially, players use a large vacuum hose to remove spores from space before they land on the station's hull. If spores penetrate the exterior, the officer must don a spacesuit to spray infected outer areas with a cleansing agent. Spores that infiltrate the interior corridors must be hunted down directly using plasma weaponry, requiring the player to navigate the station and avoid return fire.

Progression is tied to managing both direct action and automated support systems. The player has indirect command over up to ten utility droids, including cleaners, fighters, and engineers, which can be directed to key locations such as infected zones. As the officer gains combat experience and earns promotions, access to more advanced fighter robots becomes available through the station's droid factory. The game imposes a constant pressure through systemic consequences, as unchecked infections cause station malfunctions. A central timer adds urgency, with a sixty-minute self-destruct sequence activated at the start that can only be halted by completely eradicating all spore activity.
