Play Wall Pipe Online

Wall Pipe is a real time puzzle game released in 1993 for MS DOS. Developed and published by Soleau Software, Inc., the game presents a top down perspective where the player must construct pipelines to guide flowing water.

The player controls a cursor to select and place pipe segments from a queue onto a grid. Each level begins with a water source and a set of pipe parts in a specific order, with the next three upcoming pieces visible for planning. The player must remember the shape of the currently selected piece, as it cannot be rotated. After a forty second construction period, the water begins to flow, and the player must continue placing pipes under time pressure as the water moves faster than new pieces can be laid. The primary objective is to build a continuous pipeline from the source, sometimes to a specific outlet, before the water encounters a gap or the player runs out of usable parts.

Progression is measured by a scoring system. Points are awarded for each pipe segment used and for creating closed loops within the pipeline using special interconnection pieces. Points are deducted for any pipe parts placed that do not ultimately carry water when the round concludes, except during designated bonus rounds. Successful play allows the player to enter their initials on a high score list.
