Tomb of the TaskMaker is a top-down role-playing game released for MS-DOS in 1997. It was developed by Storm Impact and distributed as freeware. The game is a sequel set many years after the events of its predecessor, with the player assuming the role of the protector of Castle Hall following the death of the TaskMaker.

Players control a single character who is tasked with aiding neighboring villages. The initial objectives involve retrieving specific objects from monsters that threaten these settlements, after which each item is destroyed. The narrative progresses as the player receives word of the TaskMaker's return, leading to a quest for a key to his tomb. This journey reveals a plot by the Captain Guard, who must be defeated to restore peace. Progression is structured around completing these central tasks while exploring the world built around Castle Hall, which includes new dungeons and villages. Key gameplay systems involve exploration of this environment and interaction with non-player characters to advance the story.

The game expands upon its predecessor by introducing character customization, allowing players to choose a male or female avatar from one of three classes: fighter, mage, or thief. This choice influences the player's capabilities. The game world is presented with updated graphics compared to the original. Development was completed under time constraints, and the initial release remained at version 1.0 until a slightly updated version was made available by developer David Cook in July 2008.
