The Orion Conspiracy is a science fiction adventure game released in 1995 for MS-DOS. Developed by Divide By Zero, Ltd. and published by Domark Software, it is a third-person point-and-click title that incorporates adult themes and puzzle elements within a futuristic setting.

Players control Devlin McCormack, a retired veteran who travels to the Cerberus space station to attend his estranged son's funeral and investigate the murder. After learning his son had a gay lover, who is then also killed, Devlin becomes the primary suspect. His objectives involve clearing his name by finding the real killer and uncovering who is framing him, all while the station is invaded by hostile, shape-shifting aliens. The gameplay uses a standard point-and-click interface for the era, where moving a cursor over the environment highlights interactive objects. Selecting an object presents a set of action icons at the bottom of the screen, such as examine or take, to manipulate items and progress. Interactions with other characters are handled through conversation trees featuring both voiced dialogue and subtitles.

The initial portion of the game focuses on exploration and dialogue, as the player gathers information about the murder, the station's operations, and its crew. The latter stages shift toward more direct puzzle solving, often requiring the player to use inventory items quickly to escape dangerous situations or avoid death. The design avoids the action-oriented sequences that were becoming common in contemporary adventures, maintaining a focus on investigation and environmental puzzles throughout the narrative.
