To accomplish this, the player must manage various logistical systems, including selecting travel guides, planning routes, and maintaining supplies. Core gameplay involves navigating a boat through the river environment, where players encounter indigenous animal species, photograph wildlife, and fish for sustenance.

Progression is structured around surviving the hazards of the expedition and occasionally utilizing time travel to interact with historical figures.
