TFX, short for Tactical Fighter eXperiment, is a combat flight simulator released in 1993 for MS-DOS. Developed by Digital Image Design Ltd. and published by Ocean of America, Inc., the game presents a first person perspective and places the player in the role of a United Nations fighter pilot.

Gameplay involves piloting one of three advanced aircraft: the F-117A Nighthawk, the Eurofighter 2000, or the F-22 Superstar. Progression is structured around a series of training missions; players must complete ten of these scenarios before gaining access to the full range of operational missions. The core experience consists of executing various tactical objectives across different combat situations, utilizing the specific flight and weapons systems of each aircraft. Players manage navigation, target acquisition, and engagement during these sorties.

Beyond the predefined missions, TFX includes a mission editor. This tool allows players to design and build custom scenarios using the game's environments and parameters, providing a way to create tailored combat exercises.
