Superman Games: Metropolis Defenders Game

Remember those old-school Flash games where you just had to smash stuff before it hit the ground? Metropolis Defenders is basically that, but with Superman doing the punching. You're hovering over the city, watching these glowing rocks rain down, and you've gotta tap or click to send Supes flying into them. Sounds simple, right?
Except some of those "meteors" are actually chunks of Kryptonite—they look slightly greener, but you'll probably miss that detail the first few times and wonder why Superman suddenly plummets out of the sky. The physics are janky in that classic Flash way, so sometimes he'll ricochet off one rock straight into another, which is either frustrating or weirdly satisfying depending on how many tries you've given it.
It's the kind of game you play for five minutes between homework assignments, not some deep experience. But there's something oddly compelling about seeing how long you can keep Metropolis from turning into a crater.
