Super Mario Rush is one of those quick, jump-in-and-play runners where you just tap to hop over pits and stomp on Goombas—classic Mario stuff. The controls are simple, but those saws and spikes come out of nowhere if you're not paying attention. I kept losing my first few runs because I'd get too greedy going for coins.

There's a little shop where you can spend coins on masks for Luigi or Toad, which is a nice touch. The levels get faster the longer you survive, and by world 3, you're basically flying through obstacles. It's not the deepest game, but it's perfect for killing a few minutes. Just don't blame me when you get obsessed with beating your high score.
