Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force is one of those GBA games that actually makes you feel like you're stepping into Luke's boots—from whining about power converters on Tatooine to facing down Vader in Cloud City. The pixel art holds up surprisingly well, especially the lightsaber glow in dark corridors. You’ll bounce between blaster fights, Force puzzles, and the occasional speeder bike chase, though some of the platforming can be a little janky (looking at you, Death Star escape).
What’s cool is how it stitches together moments from the original trilogy—you start as this farm kid with a blaster, and by the end, you’re deflecting shots with a green saber. The Hoth level’s snowspeeders control like shopping carts on ice, but hey, that’s kinda authentic. If you’ve got nostalgia for the films, this one’s a solid pocket-sized adventure.
