Okay, so Jedi Power Battles on GBA is basically you swinging a lightsaber like a maniac while occasionally remembering you have Force powers. You pick from Qui-Gon, Obi-Wan, or a few others—I always went with Mace Windu because purple lightsaber, obviously.

The controls take a second to click—button mashing gets you through the first few levels, but later you actually have to time your blocks and jumps. The levels follow Episode I (yes, podracing is in here), and the boss fights against droids or Darth Maul feel surprisingly intense for a tiny screen. Sometimes the camera angles work against you, but nailing a perfect saber combo on a battle droid swarm? Pure satisfaction.

It’s not the deepest game, but if you ever wanted to slice through Trade Federation goons during your commute, this’ll do the trick. Just don’t expect it to go easy on you.
