About Star Wars : Jedi Power Battles
Star Wars: Jedi Power Battles came out for the Game Boy Advance in 2002, published by LucasArts. It was part of that wave of early GBA titles that tried to bring console-style action to a handheld, and it felt ambitious for its time. You got a side-scrolling Star Wars adventure that was quite different from the 3D console versions.
You control a Jedi, like Plo Koon or Obi-Wan Kenobi, and your main goal is to fight through levels based on locations from The Phantom Menace. The gameplay involves moving screen by screen, using your lightsaber to deflect blaster bolts back at battle droids and engaging them directly in close combat. You also use Force powers, like Push and Jump, to solve simple environmental puzzles and reach new areas. The levels are linear but packed with enemies, and the difficulty can be unforgiving, with precise timing needed to survive. It feels like a brisk, challenging test of your reflexes as a Jedi.
