Star Wars Episode II on GBA is one of those licensed movie games that actually gets the vibe right. You jump between Anakin, Obi-Wan, and Mace Windu—each with their own clunky-but-fun lightsaber combos—while working through key scenes from the film. The Geonosis arena fight? Yeah, it’s here, complete with those weird alien bugs swarming everywhere.

Combat’s simple but satisfying once you get the timing down. Blocking blaster shots never gets old, though some of the platforming bits feel a little stiff. Jango Fett’s boss fight is a highlight—dodging his flamethrower while trying to close the gap makes you feel like you’re in an actual duel. Not gonna lie, the sprite work for Count Dooku looks kinda funny up close, but the Mode7 effects during speeder bike sections still hold up surprisingly well.

If you’re into early 2000s handheld action games, this one’s a solid time-killer between podrace crashes and awkward Anakin-Padme dialogue.
