Sonic The Hedgehog 1 At Sage 2010 Game

So, SAGE 2010 had this weird little demo of the original Sonic the Hedgehog—you know, the Genesis classic. It’s basically the same game, but with some odd quirks from the event build. Still feels like that first chaotic run through Green Hill Zone, though. Rings flying everywhere, those crab things popping out of nowhere, and that soundtrack that’s permanently burned into my brain.
Weirdly nostalgic to see it pop up at SAGE, of all places. If you missed it back then, it’s a fun little time capsule—just don’t expect any surprises beyond what you remember. The physics are slightly off in spots, but hey, it’s Sonic. You’ll be spindashing into walls either way.
