Sonic – Return To The Origin Game

Ever wanted to relive that classic Sonic feel but with a fresh twist? Sonic – Return to the Origin on the Sega Genesis (or Mega Drive, depending on where you grew up) nails it. It's got that same fast-paced, loop-de-looping action you remember, but with smoother controls and some clever tweaks to the level design. The first time I played, I was surprised by how natural it felt—like slipping back into an old pair of sneakers that somehow got an upgrade.
You still blast through Green Hill-style zones, bouncing off badniks and hunting for chaos emeralds, but there’s just enough new stuff to keep it from feeling like a straight-up rehash. The physics are a little tighter, too—no weird momentum hiccups when you hit a ramp. If you’ve ever missed the simplicity of classic Sonic without the jank, this one’s a solid pick.
