Ever wanted a Sonic game that feels a little... off? Sonic – Into The Void is one of those weird, fan-made Genesis romhacks where the physics are just slightly wrong, the levels loop in strange ways, and half the time you’re not sure if you’re going fast or just glitching through walls. It’s got that classic Sonic speed, but everything’s a bit dreamlike—like someone remixed Green Hill Zone after too much caffeine.

You’ll recognize some of the sprites and sounds, but the level design? Pure chaos. One minute you’re bouncing off springs that send you way too high, the next you’re falling through platforms that definitely should’ve held your weight. It’s janky in a way that’s almost charming, if you’re into that sort of thing. Not for purists, but if you’ve played every official Sonic game to death, this might scratch that "what even is this?" itch.

Fair warning: save states are your friend here. The void in the title isn’t just for show.
