Ever blasted through Sonic 1 or 2 and thought, "Man, I wish this kicked my butt a little more?" That's basically what Harder Levels is—someone took the classic Genesis Sonic games and cranked up the difficulty. Same zones, same music, but suddenly those loops have spikes where they didn’t before, and enemy placements feel downright mean.

It’s not just cheap tricks, though. The levels are redesigned to actually challenge you if you’ve memorized the originals. First time I played, I got wrecked in Green Hill because I wasn’t expecting bottomless pits where safe landings used to be. Feels like a fresh take if you’ve played these games to death.

Still has that classic Sonic speed, just with way more "oh crap" moments. You’ll either love it or rage-quit by Chemical Plant.
