Okay, so Sonic Eraser is one of those weird little Sega oddities—Japan-only, digital-only, and honestly, not what you'd expect from a Sonic game. Instead of running loops and collecting rings, you're staring at a grid of colored blocks, trying to clear them in this weirdly addictive puzzle mode. It's got that classic '90s Sega vibe, but with way more brainwork than speed.
First time I booted it up, I thought it'd be some half-baked Tetris clone, but nah—it's got its own thing going on. You match colors, erase combos, and yeah, Sonic's there... sort of. Just hanging out in the background like, "Hey, remember me?" Weird choice for a mascot, but hey, at least the music's catchy.
Definitely more of a curiosity than a must-play, but if you're into obscure Genesis titles, it's a neat little time-waster.
