Sonic Crackers (japan) (proto) Game

Ever stumbled across a weird Sonic prototype that feels like a fever dream? That's Sonic Crackers—an unfinished Genesis/Mega Drive tech demo that never saw the light of day. It’s janky, experimental, and honestly kind of fascinating if you’re into obscure Sonic history.
You’ve got Sonic and Tails (sort of) tethered together with this elastic band mechanic, which later got reused in Knuckles’ Chaotix. The physics are wonky, the levels are barebones, and half the time you’re just trying to figure out what the game even wants you to do. But hey, that’s the charm of digging up lost prototypes.
If you’re the type who gets a kick out of seeing how games evolve behind the scenes, this is a weird little time capsule. Just don’t expect a polished experience.
