Sonic And Knuckles & Sonic 2 Game

Remember when Sega dropped Sonic & Knuckles back in the day? It was wild—you could actually stack cartridges on top of other Sonic games. Plug in Sonic 2, and suddenly you're playing as Knuckles in zones he wasn't even supposed to be in. The levels feel different when you're gliding and climbing walls instead of just speeding through.
That lock-on tech was ahead of its time. And yeah, the graphics are pixelated now, but the music? Still slaps. The first time you hit Mushroom Hill Zone with those bouncy platforms, it just feels right. You’ll probably eat a few badniks figuring out Knuckles’ moveset, but once it clicks, it’s a whole new way to play.
Honestly, half the fun was seeing how the games glitched when you stacked the wrong cartridges. Not everything worked, but when it did? Magic.
