Remember that weird but kinda awesome bonus mode in Sonic & Knuckles where you're just rolling through those blue sphere stages in space? This is that, but cranked up—more levels, more speed, and way more of those "oh crap, how do I even hit that jump?" moments. The controls feel just like the original, which is great if you're nostalgic, but man, some of these later stages get brutal.

You start off easy, just bouncing between red and blue spheres like it's nothing, but before long you're threading through mazes at full speed while the screen tilts all over the place. The music’s still that same hypnotic synth track, too—you’ll either love it or have it stuck in your head for days.

If you ever wasted hours trying to perfect those bonus stages back in the day, this is basically that itch scratched.
