Sonic Adventure Game

Man, Sonic Adventure takes me back. You boot it up, and right away you're hit with that classic Dreamcast-era energy—bright colors, cheesy-but-charming voice acting, and Sonic just zooming through loops like it's nothing. The first level drops you into Emerald Coast, with waves crashing in the background while you sprint past palm trees and jump over crabs. Feels like a theme park ride.
It's janky in that late-'90s way—some camera quirks, the occasional awkward platforming bit—but there's something about the speed and sheer variety that still hooks me. One minute you're grinding rails in a futuristic city, the next you're snowboarding down a mountain as Knuckles. And yeah, the Chao Garden? Still weirdly addictive. I spent way too much time raising those little guys.
If you're into retro platformers with personality, this one's a time capsule worth revisiting.
