Sonic 3d Blast – Sonic 3d Flickies’ Island Game

Remember when Sonic went 3D for the first time? Sonic 3D Blast was that weird, kinda janky transition—still 2D gameplay, but with isometric levels that made you misjudge jumps constantly. You’re chasing Robotnik (or Eggman, whatever) around Flickies’ Island, rescuing these little bird creatures he’s trapped in robots. The controls take some getting used to—spinning feels slippery, and those camera angles don’t always help—but there’s something charming about the chunky polygons and that classic Genesis soundtrack.
Honestly, it’s not the best Sonic game, but if you’re nostalgic for that era where every franchise was awkwardly stumbling into 3D, it’s a fun time capsule. Just don’t expect it to play like the classics.
