Sonic 2 – Sonic Tohaka Game

Alright, so Sonic 2 – Sonic Tohaka is one of those classic Sega Genesis gems that feels like a speedrun waiting to happen. You’ve got Sonic and Tails (or just Sonic if you’re going solo) blasting through loops, dodging spikes, and collecting rings like they’re going out of style. The levels are packed with hidden paths—some lead to chaos emeralds, others just drop you straight into a pit of badniks. Classic Sega move.
First time I played, I got wrecked by Chemical Plant Zone’s rising water, but once you get the hang of the physics, it’s pure momentum. The music? Absolute bangers. You’ll be humming the Casino Night Zone tune for days. And yeah, the special stages are still a nightmare if you’re not great at half-pipes, but that’s part of the charm.
If you’ve got a Genesis lying around, this one’s a no-brainer.
