Sonic 1 – Return To The Origin Game

Remember when Sonic first hit the Sega Genesis? This is that same classic, but with a few tweaks to make it feel fresh without losing what made it great. You're still blasting through Green Hill Zone at ridiculous speeds, bouncing off springs, and collecting rings like your life depends on it (because, well, it kinda does).
The physics feel just right—that perfect mix of momentum and control where you can absolutely fly through loops if you nail the timing. And yeah, you'll still curse those underwater sections when you forget to grab bubbles, but that's part of the charm. They kept the original's pixel-perfect look, too—no weird smoothing or stretched sprites here.
If you played the original back in the day, you'll notice little quality-of-life improvements, like smoother transitions between zones. But honestly? It's still the same Sonic that made you fall in love with speedrunning levels just to hear that sweet, sweet checkpoint jingle. This version just makes it easier to jump back in without digging out your old console.
