Soccer Kid is a platform game released in 1994 for MS-DOS systems. It was developed by Krisalis Software Ltd. and published by General Admission Software. The game presents a third person perspective and follows a narrative where alien thieves, after attempting to steal the World Cup, crash their ship and scatter the trophy's pieces across various nations.

Players control the protagonist, known as Soccer Kid, on a mission to recover the scattered fragments of the World Cup. The journey progresses through a series of levels set in distinct countries, including Britain, Italy, Russia, Japan, and the United States. A core gameplay system involves using a soccer ball as both a primary weapon and a tool. The character can kick the ball to defeat enemies and can manipulate its trajectory in different directions. If the ball is lost or moves off screen, players can recall it directly to the character's feet by holding the kick button.

Progression is structured around navigating platforming challenges, avoiding hazards, and collecting items within each national stage. The game features a save system that allows progress to be recorded upon completion of all levels within a given country, though saving is not available within individual stages. This structure requires players to complete a full set of levels in one location before their progress is secured for the next leg of the global journey.
